Facet
moritz waldemyer attempts to systematize the traditional craftsmanship of chandeliers.
he created diamond-shaped hexagonal glass blocks that he assembled into ‘facets’.
The chandelier itself can be just one small piece, or it can be composed of several small pieces that make up a large chandelier lights.
These components become unique and conspicuous because of their pure, regular and geometric shapes.
The light source is located inside the small chandelier, making the ‘facet’ extremely versatile and unlimitedly expandable.
